BEAMS is the current show that I’m working on, slated to debut at The Brunswick Street Gallery at the end of 2020. The initial conceptual ideas and techniques have evolved, and continue to evolve, as I work through the material. One of my favourite serendipitous finds has been an effect that happens to the oil paint on the canvas after letting large dollops of the oil run through it; breaking it up and causing interesting striations. This photo is a collage of some of the finished works as well as some of the works-in-progress.
